What are the After School Program hours?
The program runs from school dismissal until 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Extended Stay is available until 6:00 p.m. for an additional fee.
After 4:00 p.m., students enrolled in Extended Stay will focus on homework and other activities until picked up.

Where is the program located?
The After School Program takes place within the PS101Q school building.

Where is the pick-up location?
Pick-up is at the main entrance of PS101Q, beginning at 3:50 p.m.

Can my child go home on their own?
A student may self-dismiss at their designated pick-up time with written consent from their parent or guardian. The permission must include the date, child's name, grade, signature, and the specific day(s) and time(s) the student is authorized to leave the After School Program.

Is there bus service?
There is no bus service available for the After School Program. All students must be picked up at the main entrance of PS101Q or may self-dismiss with written permission.

Who are the teachers and coaches?
Our teachers and coaches consist of a blend of PS101Q school-day educators and professional instructors provided by our trusted partner vendors.

Can I send snacks or food with my child for after school?
Yes, you may send snacks or food with your child. Please pack the snacks in a separate bag labeled with your child’s name and “AS Program Snack.” Glass containers are not permitted.
Please note: Busy Bees After School provides snacks during the After Care Program, which runs from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

What do I do if my child comes home without a book or personal property?
The After School Program is not responsible for items misplaced during the day or in After School. All labeled items will be returned to the student. Any found items will be placed in the lost and found area at the end of the day.
Please note: Once a student has been dismissed, they cannot return to retrieve forgotten items, but any lost items can be picked up the following day.
