You've taken the Beginner Class and now you're ready to create even more complex characters and work on longer scenes that address environments, settings, emotion work and fun tricks like call-backs and walk-ons. We will tackle how to share the space with more than one teammate and how to make sure we are listening carefully to one another. Come join us to learn how to start linking together our scenes to create a longer set of improvised games and exercises!

Get ready to dribble, pass, shoot, and score! This fun and active class introduces students to the fundamentals of basketball while building confidence, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Through engaging drills, skill-building exercises, and friendly games, players of all experience levels will develop their abilities in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our coaches are passionate about working with children and helping them discover a lifelong love of sports through learning and play.

Actors that work on Theater shows and Films and TV have a script when they rehearse their parts. Improvisers create the script on the spot!! All characters, story ideas, settings, props and lines are created from your minds using super fun theater games and exercises which stress the importance of being spontaneous, public speaking, creative thinking and collaboration with others! Come join us to create scenes and play games! No previous experience necessary!

A supportive environment where students can make steady progress on the work they bring from their classrooms while practicing helpful study strategies. Teachers offer guidance in reading, writing, and math, helping students feel confident and capable as they complete their daily assignments.

Join the fun and learn strategy while improving cognitive skills and attention span. Students across all levels will have the opportunity to play matches with each other and be encouraged to learn aspects of the game together. All levels are welcome.

This beginner-friendly class is a fun and engaging introduction to the language and culture! Students will be introduced to basic conversational phrases, Pinyin (the phonetic system used to learn pronunciation), and simple character recognition. In addition to language learning, students will explore Chinese culture through storytelling, songs, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities. Classes are primarily taught in English, making it a welcoming and supportive environment for all learners.

This class is designed for students who already have some familiarity with the Chinese language and culture and are ready to build on their skills. Students will strengthen their conversational abilities through real-life scenarios, continue developing their Pinyin reading skills, practice character writing, and explore basic grammar. In addition to language development, students will enjoy interactive cultural experiences such as Chinese pop songs, games, and food-related activities. This class is conducted primarily in Mandarin to help students build confidence, fluency, and a deeper connection to the language.

Using Lego® intelligent bricks and their interests and curiosity, students learn pseudo-coding, coding, robotics, and engineering principles. Unique Robo Mind Tech instruction, using the 4 C's (Connect, Construct, Contemplate, and Continue) building 21st Century skills for your children. Students are required to bring their own device (laptop or iPad) to participate in this class.

Students will use yarn and a needle to make belts, small squares, and simple flowers. Suitable for beginners to advanced students.

In this program, students create an ensemble and build a lifelong community while discovering foundational musical theater techniques. Exploring musicals across diverse genres and time periods, students will take on the classics like The Sound of Music and brand new hits such as Hamilton and everything in between.

Extended Care provides families with the option of a later pickup in a safe and engaging environment. Students begin with dedicated homework time, followed by their choice of gym time or a quiet classroom activity such as arts & crafts. Our team provides encouragement and general support during homework time, though assignments are not reviewed or corrected. On Fridays only, we put on a G-rated movie or tv show for the last 30 minutes as a special end of-week treat for the children. A light snack is provided. Please note that the use of personal electronic devices is not permitted during Extended Care.

A creative journey through art, painting and the masters who inspire us! This is a fun and hands on class where students explore the world of art through painting, creativity and the work of famous artists from around the world. Students will learn about well-known artists such Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo and others while experimenting with different painting techniques, styles and artistic expression. Each session introduces students to an artist, their unique style, and a related art project inspired by their work. Through painting, mixed media, storytelling, and creative exploration, students will build artistic skills, learn about art history and gain confidence in expressing themselves through art.

This engaging, hands-on class helps children explore the world of fidgets and sensory tools in a fun and purposeful way. Students will learn how different textures, movements, and tools can support focus, emotional regulation, and calm bodies. Through interactive stations and guided activities, children will try out a variety of sensory items—such as orbys, kinetic sand, textured objects, breathing tools, and movement breaks—while learning when, why, and how to use them effectively.

The Art Nest curriculum includes painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, collage, and projects for special holidays. Techniques are carefully selected to introduce students to a wide range of art-making skills, while also providing them with opportunities to grow as young artists. Throughout the program, students strengthen their artistic vocabulary, deepen their understanding of visual concepts and build confidence in their creative abilities. We use famous artists, global art traditions, and major art movements as starting points, springboards that encourage students to develop their own ideas and visual language. We guide each child in realizing their personal vision while gently introducing essential art fundamentals in a non restrictive way.

In this creative and relaxed class, students can build whatever inspires them - from towering skyscrapers and bustling cities to race cars, animals, and imaginative worlds. Whether working independently or alongside friends, students will enjoy a fun, social environment that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on exploration.

Join Mr. Sansaricq for an exciting introduction to guitar! Students will learn chords, strumming techniques, and how to play familiar songs in a supportive, small-group setting. This class is perfect for beginners and those looking to build confidence and skill in music performance and rhythm.

Step into the room where it happens! In this high energy musical theater class, performers dive into the revolutionary world of Hamilton while building essential acting, singing and dancing skills. Students explore hip-hop rhythms, clever storytelling, and big ensemble moments inspired by the Hit Broadway musical in a developmentally appropriate and empowering way for K-5 learners. Each class begins with a mindful check-in building trust as students learn to work as an ensemble developing confidence, creativity and performance technique. Performers then jump into full-body, vocal warmups followed by weekly games and choreography. The semester culminates in an invited open class where families can see the iconic moments and kid-friendly selections inspired by Hamilton.

The ultimate intro to Musical Theater! This is a fun and creative opportunity for young performers to explore the exciting realms of singing, acting, and dancing while truly building an ensemble. In this engaging and interactive program, students will learn the fundamentals of stage performance while delving into the world of musical theater, where stories come alive. Students will embark on a journey of imagination, expression, and teamwork and can look to join the Drama Club as they continue to grow.

Students will brainstorm creative product ideas, build simple prototypes, and present their business concepts in a fun Shark Tank-style pitch session. They’ll develop problem-solving, public speaking, and critical thinking skills while learning how entrepreneurs turn ideas into reality!

This class is the ultimate dance mash-up! In Mix It Up, students will have the opportunity to explore a selection of diverse dance genres, hone their movement techniques, and unleash their creativity! Students will learn steps and skills from a wide range of dance styles from K-pop, Jazz, Hip Hop, Theater, Contemporary, Ballroom, Ballet and more! BBK Classes begin with a mindful check in to build community and trust. Teaching Artists then guide students to create Ensemble Agreements, which frame how the group develops parameters. Dancers will always do a full body warm-up, including skill building and across the floor. Dance themed games will be played every week, changing frequently to keep students on their toes. Through warm-ups, movement games, and choreography building, our students will have a blast exploring rhythm, technique, and self-expression. At the end of the semester, there will be an invited open class where we share our favorite dances with friends and family!

Let’s create together! Students will use watercolors to paint scenes of the seasons, explore different mediums, and study artists to recreate their works of art using their imagination.

In this hands-on program, students explore the magic of electricity as they build their own glowing projects. Using copper tape, LED lights, and batteries, students will design everything from shining greeting cards to glowing artwork. Along the way, they’ll discover how circuits work and bring their ideas to life with light!

Step into the shoes of visionary architects and engineers as you design and construct awe inspiring LEGO creations! From towering skyscrapers to futuristic cities, students will push the boundaries of design while mastering key engineering principles like stability, weight distribution, and structural integrity. This hands-on program challenges students to think like real-world architects, solving creative design problems as they build bridges, domes, and imaginative cityscapes. Whether replicating famous landmarks or inventing their own futuristic worlds, students will turn their ideas into reality—one brick at a time.

LEGO® Creative Wonder for Grades K-2. These lessons use stories & practical world applications to help children learn about pre-science, and children can express their creative ideas by building their own LEGO® models.

Bakers & Shakers is a cooking program designed to teach students nutrition while exposing them to kitchen skills, measuring with math and science. Students will learn how to prepare their own individual recipes.

Welcome to the enchanting world of Musical Theater! This class is a fun and creative opportunity for young performers to explore the exciting realms of singing, acting, and dancing -- all with a touch of magic. In this engaging and interactive program, students will learn the fundamentals of stage performance while delving into the world of enchantment, where stories come alive with spells, wonder, and wizardry. Drawing inspiration from musicals such as Wicked, Encanto, Into the Woods, Shrek, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Descendants, and others, our students will embark on a journey of imagination, expression, and teamwork as we bring these fantastic stories to life! Music and theater games will be played every week, shifting week to week as we build our magical world. Our Teaching Artists will work with students individually and as a group to draft and rehearse scenes and songs, bringing their imaginations to life! At the end of the semester, families are invited to watch an open class where students present their work in progress, and showcase how they developed their own mystical musical world.

Through Minecraft Education Edition, students design virtual cities, tackle STEM challenges, and simulate architectural projects. They’ll integrate coding and problem-solving while designing structures and engineering solutions. No prior experience needed. Students are required to bring their own device (laptop or iPad) to participate in this class.

Take your Minecraft skills to the next level! Using Minecraft Education Edition, students will tackle advanced engineering and design challenges while exploring redstone circuitry, automation, architecture, and collaborative city-building projects. Through hands-on problem solving and creative construction, students will strengthen their computational thinking, coding, and design skills while bringing ambitious ideas to life in a virtual world. Students are required to bring their own device (laptop or iPad) to participate in this class.

Lessons in different sports will be approached every couple of weeks. Students will have the opportunity to play basketball, volleyball, handball, and other exciting sports.

Boost early literacy through playful, structured phonics practice. Students practice letter sounds, blending, and early decoding in this class. This will help to build confidence, strengthen phonics skills, and support early readers in a fun, engaging way.

Take your academic skills to the next level in this engaging and supportive class designed for third and fourth graders. Through educational games, collaborative activities, and targeted skill building exercises, students will strengthen their reading comprehension, writing, critical thinking, and math skills while developing confidence and independence. Students will also have opportunities to receive homework support and extra practice with key concepts to help them succeed in the classroom. The skills developed in this class will help students feel prepared and confident when approaching classroom assessments and other important academic milestones throughout the year.

Inspired by Rube Goldberg machines, students will build wild, over-the-top chain reactions that make simple tasks hilariously complicated! They’ll experiment with ramps, levers, pulleys, and dominoes to explore motion and energy while designing their own incredible machines. Families will be invited at the end of the semester to a special showcase where students will present their creations and demonstrate their engineering skills in action.

Soccer Friends USA provides a team of the most highly motivated and experienced coaches who not only have a thorough knowledge of the sport but also have years of experience working with children of all ages. It is our goal to nurture a love of soccer through exercises focusing on balance, coordination, strengthening, and skill development with the ball. All of our programs have a focus on fun, and we at Soccer Friends USA feel this is the best way to learn. Every one of our coaches truly loves teaching soccer, and that sense invariably transfers to the students, no matter what level they are on.

A fun and engaging program designed to introduce students to the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures in a joyful, low-pressure environment. Through interactive games, music, movement, storytelling, crafts, songs and hands on activities, students will learn basic Spanish vocabulary, greetings, common phrases, numbers, colors, animals, food and everyday expressions. This beginner friendly class focuses on building confidence, curiosity and cultural appreciation while making language learning exciting and accessible. Students will practice speaking and listening in a supportive setting where learning happens through play, creativity and connection.

This class is the ultimate adventure in movement! Students will be introduced to a wide range of dance styles including Jazz, Hip-Hop, Theater, Contemporary, Ballroom, Ballet and more, and will enhance their cultural competency through an exploration of these specific genres and their varied origins. Students will be exposed to music, vocabulary, concepts that spans multiple languages and cultures. This class will explore rhythm, technique, and expression, and students will have a blast learning diverse types of choreography, from the Argentine tango to tap/soft shoe to Chinese folk dance. Dancers will always do a full body warm-up, including skill building and across the floor. Dance themed games will be played every week, changing frequently to keep students on their toes. Throughout the semester students will learn choreography that celebrates global dance. At the end of the semester, there will be an invited open class where we share all we have learned about these impactful dance styles.

A creative journey in watercolor! Students dive deeper into watercolor techniques while painting seasonal scenes, exploring new mediums, and drawing inspiration from well-known artists. With guided projects and room for creative ideas, students will recreate works of art in their own imaginative style.

Physical, mental, and spiritual disciplines aim to transform the body and mind. Consisting of games, simple poses, rhythmic breathing, and relaxation, students develop self-confidence, greater concentration, flexibility, and more. Structured for kids in a non-competitive environment. Comfortable clothing required.

This prep class helps 4th and 5th grade students build a strong portfolio for competitive middle school art program applications. Students will complete DOE-required projects, including still-life drawing, self-portrait, and figure drawing, while developing observational skills, idea development, and technical skills. The class also covers portfolio organization and application readiness.

In this club, we will journey through time together! Think of yourselves as time detectives—your mission is to ask questions, search for clues, and discover the “why” and “how” behind the events that shaped the world we live in today. Perfect for curious minds who love learning, exploring, and solving mysteries!
